For us, digital sovereignty isn't a buzzword. It's our operating model.
There's a lot of talk about digital sovereignty right now. We keep it practical: the infrastructure first, then the promise.
Six facts instead of six buzzwords
- 01
Our own server park – now in its third generation
Our systems run on our own hardware in our own facilities – fully modernized in 2018, 2022 and most recently 2026, and built to be geo-redundant. No rented platforms, no third-party operators between us and your data.
- 02
Our own IP address space – RIPE member since 2021
As a Local Internet Registry and a member of the RIPE NCC, we manage our own IP address space ourselves. Our network identity is ours – it isn't tied to any provider and doesn't move when you change vendors.
- 03
Direct peering – DE-CIX at four sites
Since 2026 we have been connected at the DE-CIX sites in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig and München. Our traffic takes the direct route to the major networks – short paths, clear responsibility, no unnecessary intermediate hops.
- 04
Located in Germany – operations in our own hands
Headquartered in Solingen, infrastructure in Germany, owner-led since 2014. When you call us, you reach the operator of the infrastructure directly.
- 05
Hybrid-connected – sovereign and scalable
Our data centers are connected directly to AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud in a hybrid setup. There we run our own services in production and deliver workloads worldwide – integrated with our monitoring. For us, sovereignty doesn't mean isolation, it means control: the anchor remains our own infrastructure.
- 06
The proof is right in front of you
This website runs on our own servers and is delivered over our own network infrastructure. What you're reading right now is already a reference.
Why this matters for your company
Sovereignty is not an end in itself but risk management: whoever owns and operates their own infrastructure can name dependencies, explain data paths and keep commitments without pointing to third parties. That is exactly what regulations such as NIS-2 and DORA increasingly demand of companies for their supply chain as well – and whoever operates it themselves can answer these questions first-hand.
For our clients, that means in concrete terms: we only recommend architectures we master ourselves. Whether your systems run on-premises, in our environment or hybrid – you retain control of your data, and responsibility stays with a single point of contact who built the infrastructure behind it. More on how we got there is in our story.
What we run it on – our own platform, redundant, on our own and green electricity: Own infrastructure & sustainability.
