Our network has grown historically and is barely documented. How do you proceed?
That is exactly what our network assessment is for: we capture the actual current situation with measurements, configuration analysis, and a security assessment, and produce dependable documentation. Only after that does the target architecture with a migration path take shape. So you first gain transparency about what you operate today — regardless of who built it.
Is a network migration possible without disrupting operations?
We generally plan migrations so that downtime is minimized: step-by-step transition, defined maintenance windows, tested fallback paths for every change. Critical cutovers are performed in a controlled manner and in coordination with your business departments. A residual window for individual cutover moments is planned transparently, not concealed.
Which vendors do you work with in the network space?
sector7 is certified across vendors, among others for Juniper, Cisco, HPE, F5, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks. But we advise independently: existing components continue to be used where it makes technical and economic sense. A vendor switch is never a precondition for working together.
Do you work remotely or on site at our locations?
Both, depending on the task. Operations, monitoring, and most changes take place remotely over secured connections; cabling, hardware swaps, radio surveys, and workshops happen on site. Thanks to our Solingen location, we can be reached with short travel across the Bergisches Land, Rheinland, and Ruhrgebiet.
