Managed security from our own platform – for over three years

For a municipal waste-management association – a sector regulated under IT-SiG 2.0 and NIS-2 – we have operated the FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager instances for over three years. They run on our own hosting platform in Germany, which has also hosted our own websites in production for over a year.

Availability over three years was measured at 99.999 %; the site is designed and contractually assured for 99.9 %. Connectivity is redundant and the power supply independent – powered by electricity from our own photovoltaic system and certified green power. We are registered as a telecommunications provider with the Bundesnetzagentur (German Federal Network Agency).

Eight years of full responsibility – and a doubling without a change of partner

Internationally operating industrial manufacturer (mid-sized)

For eight years, from 2014 to 2022, we held full responsibility for the network and IT security of an internationally operating mid-sized industrial manufacturer – design, build and operation, on the customer's own infrastructure.

Over that time the company grew from around 400 to almost 900 users across roughly 15 sites; we grew with it, with one to three engineers working in parallel. We consolidated the entire network infrastructure, built multi-tier next-generation firewall layers, and took on the planning, build and operation of a geo-redundant data center. Alongside design and operation, we supplied the customer with hardware throughout.

The result: eight years and a doubling of the company – without a single change of partner.

KRITIS · Energy

Large municipal energy provider, KRITIS operator

For a large municipal energy provider and KRITIS operator, we have operated and advanced the F5 system landscape (LTM, APM, AWAF) and next-generation firewalls in KRITIS-relevant areas since 2023 – security concepts to BSI and ISO 27001 requirements, complemented since 2025 by the company-wide AI strategy. Beyond operation, we supply the customer with hardware and licenses and provide support as managed capacity with our own manpower.

    Modernization of the network security landscape of a European retail group: incorporating and further developing next-gen firewall and SD-WAN systems (FortiGate, Meraki, Juniper) into the overall architecture, migrating existing firewall rule sets onto the new platforms, and technology evaluation and migration concepts.

    Takeover, configuration and operation of an application delivery / load-balancing platform (F5) for a group in the defense sector – including transition into regular operation and knowledge transfer to the in-house team, under the elevated security requirements of the sector.

    IT service provider of an international consumer goods group

    Operation and further development of the F5 load balancers (LTM, ASM, APM) — configuration, monitoring, incident handling — as well as the firewall environments (Check Point, FortiGate) for the IT service provider of an international consumer goods group.

    Around 1,000 firewall clusters rolled out worldwide

    Internationally active logistics group

    Group-wide routing concept (Juniper, Palo Alto) developed and implemented, a next-gen firewall architecture to protect critical areas designed and implemented — and in the worldwide rollout around 1,000 firewall cluster systems commissioned at international sites: from configuration creation through remote commissioning to coordinating the local teams. Plus group-wide security policies.

    Supported a worldwide SD-WAN rollout

    Global IT service provider

    Support for the worldwide SD-WAN rollout based on Juniper Contrail CSO with NFX and SRX — hands-on configuration in a multi-vendor environment of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst, Palo Alto NGFWs, and Juniper systems.

    Vulnerability management designed to banking standards

    Large German bank

    Holistic design for the vulnerability management of a large German bank (Tenable Nessus), including integration into an ArcSight SIEM — under the regulatory requirements of the banking sector.

    Firewall and BIG-IP platform operated and further developed

    International testing and certification service provider

    Operation and further development of the Check Point firewall infrastructure — rule-set maintenance, policy optimization, troubleshooting — as well as the F5 BIG-IP platform (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM), including iRules and monitoring.
